Home sweet home..

My old picture taken at home , Chiang Mai , about a year or so. The ray of sunlight shined through my favorite flower, the great combination of home sweet home! I am finally back home again even if it will only be 2 months. The more I stay away from home, the more I realize how much I love home. Nowhere else can make me feel home as much as home itself.... A boy at the festival called "L'Abbaye".

Today I went to see this festival called 'L'Abbaye' in French at this city ,Yverdon-les-bains (or the full name of this festival is "L'Abbaye d'Yverdon-les-bains". It's like a tradition to arrange the festival in Vaud region of Switzerland (we called it in French "Canton de Vaud"). It's not only arranged in this city. I cannot find the explanation in English so will leave it like that for now. It's like the parade from many communities: today I saw many parades from school with kids, or foreign communities like Mexican community, Thai community, Suisse community, Brazilian community ..and so on.. This boy is suisse but his family came from Macedonia, a modern country in the southeastern europe, situated between the north of Greece and the south of Bulgaria. What you see painted on his face is Macedonian flag. Near the lake..

The flower shot near the lake in Montreux, Switzerland. The light was not nice at all to capture the picture, it was in the middle of the day, I had to hide it with the texture (of course as you could see). Thanks to my husband who drove me there! In the snow..

It's a month since I've moved here to Switzerland, living in the village of Montcherand. It started to snow a week or two and the world became white here. Life has never been this slow but I guessed I've accepted that. In this slow moving world, I've also realized that I've more life than my fast moving world in Thailand. Tapas patatas bravas

The title is actually the name of this tapas. One of my problem is that I enjoy eating wherever I go. And when I 'was' in Barcelona last April, I really enjoyed eating. This 'Tapas patatas bravas' is actually the chips with garlic sauce, a traditional tapas...slurp! It doesn't look yummy when you see the photo but believe me, it's more than I can only say ''decicious'' :) **News** > I am currently unemployed. Strange feeling actually after I have worked for the past 15 years non-stop. But sometimes you cannot avoid whatever life brings to you. > I have had already 7 farewell dinners with my colleagues which I didn't expect this many but really appreciated. I still have about 3 farewell dinners to go.
